In 1987 Ibanez introduced the JEM777 solid body guitar model. At the time the guitar had 3 unique finishes such as Loch Ness Green, Shocking Pink. Also very unique to this guitar was the lions claw tremolo cavity and the monkey grip.
In 2017 a reissue of this guitar was made in celebration of its 30 year anniversary of the original release.
