General Information:

The Les Paul Junior debuted 2 years after the original Les Paul was introduced. The Junior was targeting beginning guitar students with its flat-top Mahogany body and single P-90 pickup controlled with simple tone and volume controls. Neck decoration consisted of simple dot inlays and the same stoptail bridge that was used on the Les Paul was used.

If this is your first venture into guitar building, this is a excellent plan to start with. You will learn the basics of guitar building while not getting too involved in complicated joinery, arched tops etc.
