6" x 36" 26G Stainless Steel Slats
These stainless steel slats are great for forming a "sandwich" to place in your heated side bender. The sandwich can consist of the wood ukulele side, sanded to proper thickness, optional heating blanket, and (1) stainless slat at the top and the bottom of the sandwich which is necessary to maintain accurate and smooth bending and even heating distribution.
Although you can use the slats for several ukulele shapes, I would recommend that you have several sets on hand. One for Larger bodied ukulele's and one for the smaller bodies.
I have used some of these slats for 25 years and they are still going strong!
The Stainless Slats are sized 4" wide x 21" long and the material is 26ga. 304 stainless steel with a 2B finish, which is a brushed finish.
