  • General Information:

    While located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Gibson L-5 guitar was introduced in 1922, under the direction of then acoustical engineer, Lloyd Loar, who is famous for many of Gibson's most valuable acoustic instruments.

    It was the originally introduced as just a non-amplified orchestra guitar with later addition of electronics in the 1940's.

    The plan represented on this sales page is the single cut-away version of this guitar.
