I was tired of using dozens of clamps to glue braces and reinforcement plates to my instrument tops and backs. I designed and built this Go Board to quickly and accurately handle this luthier task.
The Go Board is adjustable and uses fiberglas rods used in tent construction. The rods act as pressure clamps with vinyl protection ends on them. The floor of the jig can be adjusted so you can vary the distance from the top of the jig and the braces on the plate. Use as many rods as needed, but I find about 30 to 40 will handle any gluing operation.
After the braces are glued and clamped in place, you can very easily clean away glue squeeze out. It's also very easy to make minor adjustments in brace placement without need to adjust bulky clamps.

Also, these plans include details of the arch insert, which will allow you to clamp braces on an arched back plate.
