This guitar features a 000 (triple "O") body, which is smaller than the standard dreadnought and orchestra shapes but bigger than traditional parlor guitar shapes.
If you wish to match vintage specs for this model, the traditional top, back and sides was Ribbon (or Honduran) Mahogany. The guitar, when first introduced was a stripped-down version to minimize costs due to the depression. You will find though, this guitar when equipped with a quality Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood, Walnut or Maple back and sides, it will hold its own with any guitar produced today.
Add to that wood bindings, careful construction and you will have an incredible sounding guitar.
With its medium sized body, this instrument will be comfortable for players of all physical statures. With the neck joining the body at the 14th fret, it will allow you to reach the upper registers without the need for a cutaway.
