Specifications:

This tool will bend sides for all our 6 or 12 string acoustical guitars, classical guitars and Gibson L5 electric plans. Note that it will not bend acoustic bass guitars or the Sand Electric Classic guitars.

With the cutaway attachment, you will be able to bend any of the above shapes, except the acoustic bass and Sand guitars.

By using the florentine cutaway attachment you will be able to bend any of our florentine cutaway shapes.

Time to bend one side: approximately 15 minutes plus cool-down time.

Insert plans for each guitar shape are now included with each guitar plan.
Plan Content: 

Sheets 1-3: Full Size drawings showing complete detail of side top and the end, of the tool, including all the detailed notes, dimensions and materials you will need to build this jig very accurately and quickly. Also, new to this version of this plan, you can bend variable waist configurations with our adjustable waist compression plate. All the necessary details are supplied. Finally, the end retainers are detailed very completely along with spring attachment assemblies and other important details.

Sheet 4: This sheet will give you all of the template diagrams for all the tool parts. Each part is dimensioned and the layout will permit you to cut the entire tool out of a single sheet of 24" x 48" plywood. You will also need a small piece of 3/8" plywood and 1/4" plywood for the adjustable waist retainer option.
