The original Mastertone Banjo that Gibson produced was the standard for bluegrass music. This sought-after instrument is faithfully detailed here with the original neck & headpiece configurations, resonator and metal parts, used on the original instrument. This is the instrument played by Earl Scruggs and led the popular movement of bluegrass music in the 1960's and 1970's.
We have detailed this instrument with several options, such as flattop or archtop head, one-piece flange or tube and plate configurations.
