MAKE SELECTION FROM DROP DOWN MENU BELOW
This is one of the iconic instruments produced during the long history of The Gibson Guitar Co. The L-0 Model was first produced in 1926 and ceased production in 1942. The plans here faithfully reproduce the 1926 model, or the original L-0.
Even though this is considered a small-bodied guitar with a 12-fret neck, the scale length is unusually long at 25", which gives it a strong and impressive voice.
If you wish to historically reproduce one of these great guitars, use Birch back and sides and a spruce top. Later models of this guitar featured Genuine Mahogany back and sides.
Note: As ALL of our plans are sold as digital downloads, when you complete your plan purchase with us, you will automatically be given a download link to access the plans.
