The Grand Concert Guitar Plan is similar to the 412 or 812 guitar. This guitar has a neck that joins the body at the 12th fret, a 4 3/8" deep body at the deepest portion and a 24 7/8" scale, which will be an easier reach for chords. Also, this guitar plan has a wider neck, which is ideal for fingerstyle guitar playing.
Equip this guitar with a Rosewood back and sides and Sitka Spruce top for a very well balance instrument. Consider Bubinga back and sides and a Western Red Cedar top for an instrument with greater volume. Finish up with light gage HD strings and you will have a great lead instrument.
